Alight/NGA Human Resources is searching for a HRM Advisor to support the HCM (Human Capital Management) Team (HRM CSR Rep II – Entry (CAN) for our Canadian based operations. Alight/NGA Human Resources is a market leader in innovative HR services and has been awarded with several honors illustrating our leadership in the HR outsourcing and SAP HCM markets.

  

Summary

Work with the Client’s HR Managers to maintain employee records.

 

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Communicate with HR Managers via phone, email and chat
  • Work with HR Managers to maintain and update employee records
  • Complete data entry items such as salary changes, line manager changes and hire date changes
  • Monitor the case management systems and action cases as necessary
  • Inform HR Managers on various policies and processes
  • Maintain a courteous, friendly and professional manner with HR reps
  • Listen attentively to their needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy
  • Clarify and confirm understanding of issues and/or questions
  • Confirm HRs understanding of the solution and provide additional explanation as needed
  • Prepare complete and accurate work and update employees’ file
  • Communicate effectively with individuals and/or teams in the program to ensure high quality and timely expedition of HRs requests
  • Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the HR population and/or improve productivity
  • Participate in activities designed to improve HR satisfaction and business performance
  • Occasionally use decision-support tools to answer questions
  • Solve problems that are sometimes unstructured and that may require reliance on conceptual thinking
  • Offer solutions to issues that are often non-standard/non-routine and require some clarification
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of client services
  • Other duties as assigned
     
    Education/Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Previous knowledge or experience in one or more of the following - Pension, Payroll and/or Benefits would be considered an asset
     
    Skills
  • Willingness to be cross trained in various other processes
  • Knowledge of basic computer operations
  • Ability to learn
  • Courteous with strong employee care orientation
  • Dependable with proficient attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Good listening and responding skills
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes quickly and think conceptually
  • Solid problem solving skills
