Specialist, Product Engineer

 

Main responsibilities

  • Provide application functional support for our Payroll system and its integration with our HRIS partners
  • Develop a deep expertise in SAP Human Capital Management
  • Responsible for country solutions configuration, documentation and maintenance
  • Understand system business requirements and translate them into formal documentation
  • Be keen or have aptitude to understand technical language / jargon and translate it into normal business language
  • Review and resolve tickets by consulting Country Architect, Engineering, SMEs and/ or Payroll Partners for input as required
  • Get involved in testing of the country solutions
  • Engage in design and build of new innovations within the Enterprise offering
  • Experience in continuous improvement processes
  • Provide Technical support, advice, guidance
  • Work with various stakeholders in establishing the business case for Payroll and Payroll Automations innovations or improvement
  • Drive to establish the standard solution that will be part of Product and Offerings
  • Be actively involved in Engineering of solution from functional requirement to technical designs to build and unit test plans
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the delivered solution is to the highest standard
    Pro-actively review upcoming legal changes and ensure the Enterprise solutions are legally compliant

Key experience

  • Five Plus years of experience with SAP Payroll is a plus
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree with a Business or Technical emphasis, or equivalent.
  • Experience in SAP projects with strong involvement in various phases of the project
  • Knowledge in HR and Payroll solutions is a must 
  • Functional and technical experience in SAP Payroll and SAP PCC
  • Demonstrate experience of payroll delivery and / or support
  • Capacity to understand complex design and configuration issues and how they may differ across different countries / client configurations
  • Good understanding of the business processes surrounding Human Resources Management and Payroll, and ability to translate them in HR processes / solutions
  • Experience of working with TPVs
  • Understanding of project cycles and documentation processes

  • Able to communicate and build strong relationships at all levels (Team player)
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines  and control scope / focus on key areas
  • Flexibility and patience in working in a challenging Global environment
  • Fluent in English plus other languages (optional).
  • Demonstrate aptitude and willingness to learn
