Pre-Sales Solution Architect Germany


Role Summary 

This customer focused pre-sales role is a key part of the Sales organization at NGA HR. As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect you will work in partnership with account directors for the existing customer base and with sales managers for new opportunities. You are the key liaison between the sales and the technical services team at NGA HR.


Duties & Responsibilities 

1) Develop a deep and broad understanding of NGA’s standard offering including the technical aspects of the Product Suite underpinning the solution. In this role you will help defining the overall solution for a customer. Payroll experience is a pre-requisite. Knowledge of Cloud HRIS systems (Workday, SFSF, Oracle) is desired.

2) The Pre-Sales Solution Architect is able to demonstrate our Product Suite. In this role you are expected to give feedback on the demo systems and the content of the demo scripts depending on customer feedback. You will be responsible for continuing to update themselves on new features and supporting technologies and be proactive in suggesting how these might contribute to the demonstration capability.

3)  Assist as part of the bid team in answering RFQ’s, RFI’s and RFP’s. You will also complete white spaces in the response that has already been filled by Proposal Managers. The Solution Architect will guard an overall quality of the bid and provide pricing for the offered solutions. In this role you will assist in vendor presentations typically at the Customer location. Therefore travelling is a pre-requisite.

4) You will work closely with the Sales Manager to define the commercial pricing for a bid. In addition the Solution Architect will calculate the costs and margins associated with the offer.

5) This role is customer focused. You provide responses to customer questions, deliver customer presentations, discuss possible solutions with the customers and understand the latest HR Trends.

6) Responsible for ensuring all pre-sales activity directly reflects the Digital HR Services propositions in a meaningful way whilst meeting all customer needs.




  • Ideally you worked already several years in a similar role.
  • Payroll knowledge in one or more countries (detailed or general)
  • Knowledge of Cloud HRIS systems (Workday, SFSF, Oracle) is desired.
  • Profound knowledge of English and German language
  • Excellent communication and demonstration skills
