<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This position is raised for SPOC role for North America Payroll region.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Key experience and skills

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">8-14 Years’ experience in SAP HCM Payroll (US Payroll preferred).
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Individual Contributor role. Should be able to work on Change Requests independently.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Client Handling Experience. Should be able to work as SPOC for an account.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">An ideal candidate is experienced in design and configuration of US Payroll, Benefits, Time module.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">SAP US payroll configuration for Gross payroll and Net Payroll, Tax Reporter configuration. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience with BSI tax factory, Third party remittance, Payroll catalog definition including but not limited to collective bargaining agreement wage type definition and configuration,
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Off-cycle payroll definition and processing, Levy management, Garnishments definition, reporting and management, Integration with Benefits, Integration with SAP FI and with Third party FI, Detailed knowledge and understanding of integration with Time Management.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience in SAP Benefits configuration
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience in SAP Time Module
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience in creating and defining custom operations and rules
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience with Yearend activities, Open Enrollment, and support packs implementation,
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience executing parallel payroll testing
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Extensive experience in compliance reporting for more than 1 country
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Willing to work US Hours Shift (6months in a year).
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Main responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Work with the Business Analyst and the client to identify their requirements, design enhancements, and functionality to help meet user requirements.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provide functional process ownership of multiple business process areas
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the client, internal operations team, and project managers to resolve issues requiring a focused approach to maintain project continuity and requirements.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Performs configuration work as needed to support new and existing functionality Responsible for Configuration reviews
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Function as resident team expert for all configuration issues (both support and project) within their areas (modules) of expertise
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Serve as functional integration owner for multiple process areas
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Prepare functionality specifications and delivers to ABAP developers
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for creating Function Design Documents (FDD) based on the Use Case Documents recreating by the Business Analyst
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for understanding Functional Specifications followed by writing corresponding Detail Design Specifications
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for developing high-quality solutions based on completed Functional Design Documents
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for reviewing the developer’s Technical Design Document (TDD) to ensure all requirements have been met
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for reviewing the unit test plans and the quality assurance plans to ensure all requirements have been met
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for supporting the developer and ensuring the developer remains on target
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Perform code reviews of other team members completed solutions
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Work with the user community to determine the best solution to help resolve customer problems and satisfy customer requirements
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Collaborate with the ABAP developers and the quality assurance team to develop and test
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">significant new functionality and enhancements
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Perform integration testing work as necessary to ensure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensure knowledge transfer to functional analysts as necessary to increase their understanding and utilization of the SAP systems and applications
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Coach and Mentor Junior SAP Functional Analysts
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provide oversight to various SAP Projects to assess overall impact on shared instance
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Configure based on business requirements the SAP Payroll , Benefits and Time modules Utilize ASAP methodology and tasks required during each phase of the implementation
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work. Analyze current business processes and make recommendations
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Identify SAP solution possibilities and discuss with business users
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develop a specific SAP Solution from Blueprinting, Configuration, Testing and Production Support
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develop technical specifications for system enhancements
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist in the technical preparation of Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Functional Analyst will work with minimal supervision. The analyst will be required to lead local and regional SAP module review session, requirement gathering session, facilitate requirements meetings, development walkthrough, and user acceptance testing sessions with the client.
