<span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">This position is for Implementing SAP Projects.

<span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Main responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Work independently with the client to identify their requirements, design enhancements, and functionality to help meet user requirements.
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Provide functional process ownership of multiple business process areas based on the complexity of the project
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the client, internal operations team, and project managers to resolve issues requiring a focused approach to implement the project
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Work independently and play a major role at each phase of the project
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Performs configuration work as needed to support new and existing functionality responsible for Configuration reviews
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Function as resident team expert for all configuration issues (both support and project) within their areas (modules) of expertise
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Serve as functional integration owner for multiple process areas
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Prepare functionality specifications and delivers to ABAP developers
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Responsible for creating Function Design Documents (FDD) based on the Use Case Documents recreating by the Business Analyst
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Responsible for understanding Functional Specifications followed by writing corresponding Detail Design Specifications
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Responsible for developing high-quality solutions based on completed Functional Design Documents
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Responsible for reviewing the developer’s Technical Design Document (TDD) to ensure all requirements have been met
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Responsible for reviewing the unit test plans and the quality assurance plans to ensure all requirements have been met
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Responsible for supporting the developer and ensuring the developer remains on target
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Perform code reviews of other team members completed solutions
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Work with the user community to determine the best solution to help resolve customer problems and satisfy customer requirements
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Collaborate with the ABAP developers and the quality assurance team to develop and test
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Perform integration testing work as necessary to ensure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Ensure knowledge transfer to functional analysts as necessary to increase their understanding and utilization of the SAP systems and applications
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Act as a coach and mentor Junior SAP Functional Analysts and provide necessary guidance
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Provide oversight to various SAP Projects to assess overall impact on shared instance
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Configure based on business requirements the SAP Payroll , Benefits and Time modules Utilize ASAP methodology and tasks required during each phase of the implementation
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work. Analyze current business processes and make recommendations
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Identify SAP solution or customization possibilities and discuss with business users
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Develop a specific SAP Solution from Blueprinting, Configuration, Testing and Production Support
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Develop technical specifications for system enhancements
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Assist in the technical preparation of Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals.
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Will be required to lead requirement gathering session, facilitate requirements meetings, development walkthrough, and user acceptance testing sessions with the client.


<span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif"> Key experience and skills

  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">An ideal candidate must have minimum of 3-4 full life cycle implementations for North America Payroll, Time and Benefits and ideally with atleast 12+years of experience in design and configuration of North America Payroll, Benefits, Time module including but not limited to the following:


  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Experience in working on wide range of projects such as EC Payroll, Hybrid model, Standalone SAP systems.
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Experience in different payroll products (standalone SAP Payroll and cloud payroll) is an added advantage
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Technical knowledge or skills of debugging  and programming skills desirable
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Certified in SAP / Successfactors Modules or EC Payroll is preferable
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Strong command and experiences on End to End implementation process and ability to handle complex projects
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Expert in SAP US payroll configuration for Gross payroll and Net Payroll, Tax Reporter configuration
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Experience in more than one country payroll is an advantage (Canada & APAC)
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Experience with BSI tax factory, Third party remittance, Payroll catalog definition including but not limited to collective bargaining agreement wage type definition and configuration
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Off-cycle payroll definition and processing, Levy management, Garnishments definition, reporting and management, Integration with Benefits, Integration with SAP FI and with Third party FI, Detailed knowledge and understanding of integration with Time Management.
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Extensive experience and expertise in SAP Benefits configuration & Time Module
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Expertise in creating and defining custom operations and rules
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Experience with Yearend activities, Open Enrollment, and support packs implementation
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience executing parallel payroll testing
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Extensive experience in compliance reporting for more than 1 country
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Willing to work US Hours Shift or based on project needs
  • <span style="font-family:"Trebuchet MS",sans-serif">Excellent written and verbal communication skills
